Tiny notes that make a big difference for kids
We often think the big gestures matter most — birthday parties, special outings, rewards for achievements. But sometimes it’s the smallest moments of connection that leave the deepest mark on our kids’ hearts.

Why lunchbox notes matter
Do you remember coming home and seeing a letter in the letterbox? My childhood was filled with the joys of pen friend letter swapping! We would write every couple of months, sending stickers, cartoons, photos and other sweet things – as well as the letter itself with what we had been up to!

Sometimes I’ll pop a written note in their lunch box, other times, I will simply write on their fruit (type of fruit permitting, of course!) – bananas are the best! My eldest kids still talk about the little notes I used to write on their bananas and sometimes my eldest daughter will write on our youngests and draw sweet little pictures!
